When traveling, we always try to experience the culture of the place. For me, one of the best way to appreciate the local culture is trying out their food. We are willing to drive or walk away from the ‘tourist traps’ for a great meal. And the best place to eat is where the locals go. And this restaurant is a great place to eat and experience the local scene.
We arrived early and the parking lot was empty. By the time we finished almost all the tables were full with families - sometimes with multi-generations.
I could see grandparents playing with their grandchildren by the garden on the side of the restaurant.
We had the best lamb chops we have ever had! Got a chance to watch it being prepared and cooked and the hearing the sizzle of the meat being cooked made me excited to eat.
Love this place! Love their food. Love the service and love the family oriented vibe. A must try when you are in the area- Εξυπηρέτηση

Ate the grilled sheep and lamp. All served with thick fries. The long sausages were juicy and tasty, with a burst of herb flavour. So delicious.

Great atmosphere. Both spentzofai and bujurdi were great (probably the best sausages in Greece). Good prize to quality ratio. Only downside are chips - homemade potato cut but something went wrong in production process (oil maybe?) but ok’ish. Overall we would definitely come back here again.

Most autentic place in greece I have seen. There are more than 9 international kebab rewards for this place. Also there is a fire burning for 59 years and it is passed on in generations. It is a stunning place and I have no other than good words

Insanely good local grass fed grilled lamb! I was born and raised in Nebraska and basically stick to beef, pork, and chicken. But the grilled lamb was out of this world! Don’t know if I’ll ever get back to this part of the world again but if I do I’ll be sure to stop by again.
Crazy good lamb chops. Excellent place, in farmland area. Plenty of parking. Very good service. Not much english is spoken but they understand lamb chops:) place is little tricky to find but google maps will navigate you to it if you can locate it. Roads are very good if you are driving from Kalampaka. We really liked it and it is less expensive then the restaurants in town

Recommended by a local. Located next to a river stream in a very remote area but the hospitality and food is definitely worth the drive. The food was exceptional and inexpensive. All and all we had a lovely evening

Real nice place with specialization in roast meat try the lamb cutlets and pork skewers while there is large variety of starters - if you have time and like the Greek BBQ don't miss it

The food is extremely good, reminds me of my childhood. Staff is very friendly even though they know little English. Over-all great experience.
If you wish to truly eat where locals at Meteora eat, this is the place!! The best grill of Greece!!!!!
